# Stake

Mit Stake, einem weiteren von MFET im Bereich DeFi entwickelten Projekt, wird der Kohlenstoff-Fußabdruck reduziert, wenn die Nutzer ihre MFETs für einen bestimmten Zeitraum in ihrem Geldbeutel aufbewahren. Die Grundlage dieses Systems sind die "Industrial Paulownia (Kiri) Forests" innerhalb von MFET.

MFET teilt den Kohlenstoffausgleich durch die Bäume in diesem Wald mit seinen Nutzern. Die Nutzer reduzieren ihren CO2-Fußabdruck durch die Menge an MFET, die sie in ihrem Portemonnaie haben. Da MFET weiterhin in Paulownia investiert, wird sich der CO2-Fußabdruck des Einzelnen weiter verringern.
